SokoCoins Terms

1. What SokoCoins are

SokoCoins are promotional loyalty units you may earn on Sokoni. They can be redeemed for discounts on eligible purchases when redemption is enabled on your account.

SokoCoins are not money, not a bank balance, and not the same as your Savings Pocket. They have no cash value outside Sokoni and cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.

2. Coin value

Unless we state otherwise in a campaign, 100 SokoCoins = R1.00 off at checkout when you redeem. We may change the conversion rate for future earn or redeem events with reasonable notice on this page.

3. How you earn Coins

• Welcome offer: new shoppers who complete registration and email verification may receive up to 5 000 Coins (R50 equivalent) once per person, when the programme is active and credited to your account.
• Order spend: planned for a future release (for example a percentage of eligible order value). We will announce rates and caps before launch.
• Referrals and promotions: may be offered from time to time with campaign-specific rules and caps.
• Coins are credited only after Sokoni confirms eligibility. Abuse or duplicate accounts void Coins.

Welcome Coins credit after email verification on eligible new accounts. View your balance at Account → SokoCoins. Checkout redeem applies when your account has redeem enabled.

4. Redemption

Redemption is available on eligible verified accounts. Sign in and open checkout to apply Coins when your balance meets the minimum.

• Minimum balance to redeem: 500 Coins (R5.00 equivalent).
• Coins apply to eligible goods and shipping on www.sokoni.co.za only.
• Up to 50% of the order total (after promos) may be paid with Coins unless a campaign states otherwise.
• At checkout, discounts typically apply in this order: promo codes, then SokoCoins, then Savings Pocket, then Paystack for any remainder.
• Liquor and other restricted categories may be excluded when policy requires.
• Coins cannot be transferred to another Sokoni account.
• Redemption requires a verified, active account in good standing.

5. Expiry

Coins expire 12 months after the date they are credited unless a campaign states a shorter or longer period. We apply oldest Coins first when you redeem.

6. Returns and chargebacks

If an order paid partly with Coins is cancelled or refunded, restored Coins follow our returns policy. Coins earned on a reversed or chargeback order may be clawed back.

7. Fraud and abuse

One welcome offer per person. Self-referrals, scripted signups, and chargeback abuse may lead to forfeiture of Coins and account suspension. Sokoni's decision on abuse is final.

8. Privacy

We process data needed to run the programme under our Privacy Policy. Marketing signups from the footer require a Sokoni account and verified email.

9. Changes

We may update these terms or pause the programme. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
